About the Research Team:

William C. Strohsnitter, D.Sc. Dr. Strohsnitter has been an investigator on the DES Follow-up Study since 1997 when he joined the project as the Co-Principal Investigator at what is now the Tufts Medical Center Study site. In 2009, he assumed the role of Principal Investigator at the Tufts site when Dr. Kenneth Noller left the study to become the Director of Evaluation at the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology. Since he has joined the study, Dr. Strohsnitter has directed the studies of cancer incidence among men who were exposed to DES before birth and autoimmune disease among women prenatally exposed to DES. He is also interested in the effects of prenatal exposures and experiences on breast cancer occurrence.

Brian K. Bond, M.D. Pharm.D. Dr. Bond joined the DES follow-up study in 2009 after the departure of Dr Kenneth Noller. Since joining the study he has been named Co-Principal Investigator at the Tufts Medical Center Study site. As a practicing Obstetrician Gynecologist, he has assisted in addressing clinical gynecologic issues relating to the exposure of DES.
