About the Study:
Women who were and were not prenatally exposed to DES were recruited into the DESAD project at the University of Southern California. In the mid-1980’s, the Cedars-Sinai Medical Center assumed oversight of the follow-up of this DESAD cohort.
About the Principal Investigator:
The Principal Investigator for the Daughters’ Cohort of the DES Follow-Up Project at the Cedars-Sinai Medical Center is Dr. Beth Karlan. Dr. Karlan is Chair of the Cedars-Sinai Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology and treats women with gynecologic cancer.
